About Me
Velaphi Mpolweni was born in the rural countryside of South Africa. As a boy, he worked as a child labourer but nonetheless managed to elevate himself in life to obtain multiple academic qualifications.
He has occupied different senior leadership positions in the public and financial industry in South Africa.
He is a public speaker, life coach, business consultant, facilitator, and award-winning furniture designer and manufacturer.
His difficult upbringing and love of sports influenced many facets of his life, including the narration of his maiden book, Resilience: a manifestation of hope.
Velaphi currently resides in Johannesburg, South Africa, with his wife and children.
